I am an entrepreneur. My days are spent at the office. The gym means 1 to 2 hours, plus the drive. It does not fit into my days.
I tried the 100 push-ups a day challenge you see everywhere online. It matched what I was looking for: push-ups need no equipment, they are fast, and they can be done at home or at the office. My goal: improve my appearance by building muscle mass, and improve my health. After a few weeks, no progress: I was doing 4 sets of 25, sometimes 5, and the number per set just would not move. Physically, nothing either. None of the transformations promised online.
After 10 months of that, I started to really dig in. I did research, read scientific studies and tried different techniques. The first thing I understood: the 100 push-ups a day method does not fit my goal of building muscle mass. So I changed my training, tried different types of exercises and made mistakes. Now I can feel the difference. I feel my muscles, and my numbers are going up. And all of that with sessions of about 20 minutes, at home or at the office.
I created this site to help people in my situation. People who work a lot, who have no time for the gym, but who still want to be in shape and build muscle. Everything I learned, the mistakes and the solutions, I share it here. All without a gym and without equipment, with short sessions that fit into a real life.
